💥 Marvel Rivals 💥
It’s only day 3 into the game for me, but so far I’ve really enjoyed Moon Knight 🌙
I’ve had a lot of success with using the Ancient Ankh and Crescent Dart to multiple damage on opponents when they are boxed in.
The only issues I’ve had is going against air born opponents. But I’d give Moon Knight ⭐️Overall rating: 9/10
Okay, so I've been absolutely hooked on Marvel Rivals since it dropped, and I just had to share more about my journey with Moon Knight. When I first started, I was looking for a character that felt unique, and Moon Knight totally delivers. The original post just touched on it, but let's really dive into his Ancient Ankh ability – it's a game-changer! From my personal experience, the Ancient Ankh isn't just an ability; it's a strategic tool. What I've found is that it really shines in close-quarters combat or when you've managed to isolate an enemy. I literally feel like I'm marking my prey when I land it. The damage multiplier it provides is insane, especially if you can follow up quickly. It's not just about hitting the button; it's about timing. I've had so many moments where hitting an enemy with the Ankh, then immediately following up with a well-placed Crescent Dart, just melts their health bar. It's incredibly satisfying to see those big damage numbers pop up, sometimes even leading to a TRIPLE kill if enemies are grouped up! Speaking of the Crescent Dart, I've found its true power lies in its versatility. You can use it to poke, to finish off low-health enemies, or as I mentioned, to capitalize on the Ancient Ankh's debuff. The key is to practice the flow – Ankh, then Dart. It feels almost rhythmic once you get it down. I’ve even managed a QUAD! kill during a hectic team fight by perfectly timing my Ankh-Dart combo on multiple targets. The feeling of seeing that MOON KNIGHT HIGHLIGHT pop up on screen is just awesome. Now, about those airborne opponents – that's definitely been my biggest hurdle. When you're grounded and trying to hit a flying Iron Man or Scarlet Witch, it can feel like you're just flailing. My workaround so far has been focusing on positioning. Instead of trying to directly engage, I try to use cover to get closer and then surprise them. Or, I've learned to rely on my teammates to handle the aerial threats while I focus on controlling the ground. Sometimes, a well-timed ultimate can bring them down, but it's not always reliable. I'm still figuring out the optimal strategy here, but I think patience and team coordination are key. Another tip I've picked up for Moon Knight is to really master his mobility. He feels quite agile, which allows you to flank enemies and set up those perfect "boxed in" scenarios for your Ankh. Don't just run in head-first; use the environment to your advantage. I often try to get around the side or behind enemies before initiating with the Ankh. It gives you that crucial first hit advantage and makes it much easier to secure the elimination. Overall, my 9/10 rating for Moon Knight in MARVEL RIVALS stands firm. Despite the challenges with airborne foes, his ability to chunk down ground targets with the Ancient Ankh and Crescent Dart combo makes him an absolute blast to play. If you're looking for a character that rewards smart positioning and timing, I highly recommend giving him a try. I'm excited to keep exploring his kit and finding new ways to dominate the battlefield!
