Day 20
Today is day 20 of taking a picture everyday of 2025 📸
It’s cold 🥶-9 this morning when I woke up and the feels like temp was -21
Needless to say, I stayed inside for most of the morning. I got all caught up on my Marvel Rivals missions and did some decluttering
We went to Sam’s Club and TJMax for a couple things and then stopped and picked up Wendy’s for dinner tonight
Watching the CFP Championship and then might call it an early night
Happy MLK Day and have a great night y’all 🤘
You know those days when the weather just forces you to rethink all your plans? Day 20 of my 'Picture Everyday of 2025' challenge was exactly that! Waking up to a brutal -9°F with a 'feels like' of -21°F really solidified my decision to embrace indoor life. It’s funny how extreme weather can really shift your perspective and highlight the simple comforts of home. For me, a day like this is perfect for catching up on some virtual adventures. I dove deep into my Marvel Rivals missions, which is a fantastic way to escape the chill without actually leaving the house. There’s something incredibly satisfying about ticking off those game challenges, especially when it's too cold to do much else. It's a great little mental break! Beyond gaming, I also tackled some much-needed decluttering. It's amazing how quickly things accumulate, and a cold day indoors is the ideal opportunity to sort through stuff. There’s such a refreshing feeling that comes with organizing your space – it’s almost as good as winning a game! You see the results instantly, and it makes your living area feel so much lighter. Even on the coldest days, life still calls for a few outdoor ventures. We eventually bundled up and headed out for a quick trip to Sam’s Club and TJMaxx. It’s always an adventure trying to run errands when the air bites at your nose the moment you step outside! But hey, we managed to grab what we needed, including a delicious Wendy’s for dinner tonight. Sometimes, a warm, easy meal is exactly what you need after battling the elements. The evening was all about cozying up. Watching the CFP Championship was the perfect end to a cold MLK Day. It’s these small, shared moments, like having a selfie taken in the kitchen, maybe in a favorite denim jacket with a sherpa collar, with a smiling loved one in the background, that really make the day memorable, even if it's just a simple, everyday picture. This 'Picture Everyday of 2025' journey has been fascinating. It’s not about perfectly staged photos, but about capturing the genuine moments – the frosty mornings, the indoor hobbies, the quick errands, and the quiet evenings. It encourages you to find something unique or noteworthy in each day, even the seemingly ordinary ones. It's a visual diary of real life, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the year unfolds, one picture at a time. Wishing everyone a great night!
