Best Photo Spot in Shanghai

This place is really a good IG photo spot! Many Tourist doesn't know.

It is a huge Shopping Mall and the trick is to go up the highest floor to take photo and also then exit the main exit then go to the river across to take an overall photo.

This is the Babylon Garden!

... Read moreDuring my trip to Shanghai, I stumbled upon Babylon Garden, a truly underrated spot that offers fantastic photo opportunities. Many tourists tend to overlook this place, focusing instead on the city's more famous landmarks. However, Babylon Garden’s charm lies in its unique vantage points. The highlight is definitely the highest floor of the shopping mall 大洋晶典·天安千树 located in the Putuo District. From there, you get an unobstructed view of the city skyline, perfect for capturing modern Shanghai's blend of urban energy and aesthetic beauty. After taking photos inside, I walked outside and made my way across to the riverbank, where the views expanded dramatically. This gave me a picturesque panorama that included the water reflections and the surrounding architecture, making for truly memorable shots. What makes this spot so special is that it’s not as crowded as popular tourist areas, so you can take your time experimenting with angles and lighting without feeling rushed. If you’re aiming for unique Instagram content or just want to experience Shanghai from a different perspective, I highly recommend adding Babylon Garden to your itinerary. Remember to bring a wide-angle lens if you have one and consider visiting during golden hour for the best natural light. This hidden gem in Shanghai’s Putuo District is a refreshing alternative to the usual photo spots, blending modern shopping culture with scenic views in one place.
