Mango Chia Pudding!
I haven’t posted in a while, I’ve been working on my mental health due to lots of stress from work. I’ve been lucky to take some time off for treatment and one of the keys ingredients to better mental health has been clean eating. This mango chia pudding is so easy and I will be incorporating it more when I return to work. Do two servings of Greek yogurt, 2 servings of chia seeds, 2 servings of your favorite milk (I use oatmilk), add 1-2 servings of your favorite sweetener(I use Stevia), mix everything up and let it sit in your fridge overnight. The next day you can add your favorite fruit and granola (I used coconut keto clusters). It’s one of my favorite easy and filling breakfasts or snacks. Truly satisfied my sweet tooth and provides me with protein and fiber. #healthyfood #healthbreakfast #chiapudding #guthealth
Mango Chia Pudding is not only a delicious treat but also a great way to boost your overall health. Chia seeds are a fantastic source of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and fiber, which support gut health and improve digestion. Including Greek yogurt adds a protein punch, contributing to muscle repair and keeping you feeling full and satisfied throughout the morning. To enhance the flavor, consider adding a variety of fruits; mango pairs wonderfully with berries like blueberries or strawberries for added nutrients and taste. Incorporating unsweetened coconut flakes can also provide a delightful texture and additional healthy fats. This dish is versatile, allowing for swaps such as almond milk or coconut milk based on your dietary preferences. As you prepare your Mango Chia Pudding, remember that allowing it to sit overnight maximizes the chia seeds’ ability to absorb liquids, forming a pudding-like consistency that is both creamy and indulgent. Perfect for meal prep, this wholesome recipe can be a staple in your diet, supporting your goal to eat clean, especially during periods when you're focusing on mental health and well-being.
