... Read moreOkay, so I’ve been absolutely obsessed with S’mores everything lately, and of course, that had to extend to my morning coffee! I tried a few different variations, but I think I’ve finally nailed the ultimate S’mores Iced Coffee recipe that brings all those cozy, campfire vibes right into my kitchen. It’s surprisingly simple to make, and honestly, it tastes even better than anything you’d get from a coffee shop.
Here’s how I make my go-to S’mores Iced Coffee – trust me, you’ll want to save this one!
What You'll Need (Ingredients):
1-2 shots of strong espresso or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee (chilled is best!)
1 cup milk of your choice (dairy, oat, almond – whatever you love!)
1-2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (for that rich S'mores base)
1-2 tablespoons marshmallow flavored syrup (or a few actual toasted marshmallows, see tip below!)
Ice cubes
Whipped cream (for topping, essential!)
Chocolate drizzle (extra flair, but totally worth it!)
Graham cracker crumbles (the magic touch!)
My Super Easy Steps to S'mores Heaven:
Prep Your Glass: First things first, grab your favorite tall glass. I like to drizzle some chocolate syrup around the inside of the glass before adding anything else – it looks pretty and adds extra chocolatey goodness with every sip. If you're feeling fancy, you can even add a bit of crushed graham cracker to the rim by dipping it in a little chocolate syrup then into the crumbles.
Mix the Base: Pour your strong, chilled coffee or espresso into the prepared glass. Add the chocolate syrup and marshmallow syrup. Give it a good stir until everything is well combined. You want that sweet, chocolatey marshmallow flavor to be consistent throughout.
Add Milk and Ice: Fill your glass generously with ice cubes. Then, pour in your milk. I usually use oat milk for an extra creamy texture, but any milk works perfectly. Stir gently to combine all the layers.
The S'mores Topping: This is where the fun begins! Top your iced coffee with a generous swirl of whipped cream. Don't be shy here – it's part of the S'mores experience! Next, take your chocolate syrup and make a beautiful chocolate drizzle over the whipped cream. Finally, sprinkle those delicious graham cracker crumbles all over the top. The crunch is everything!
Enjoy! Pop in a metal straw (because sustainability and presentation!) and dive into your masterpiece. It’s truly like having a campfire in a cup, without having to leave your house. The combination of cold coffee, sweet chocolate, creamy marshmallow, and crunchy graham cracker is just divine.
Andy’s Extra Tips & Variations:
Toasted Marshmallows: If you happen to have a kitchen torch, you can lightly toast a few mini marshmallows and float them on top of the whipped cream instead of using marshmallow syrup. It adds an authentic smoky flavor that’s incredible!
Make it Thicker: For a dessert-like shake, blend the coffee, syrups, milk, and a handful of ice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream before topping. Oh my goodness, it’s decadent!
Dark Chocolate Twist: If you prefer a less sweet, more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate syrup or even melt a square of dark chocolate with a tiny bit of milk to create your own drizzle.
Cold Brew Base: Instead of regular brewed coffee, try using cold brew concentrate for an even smoother, less acidic coffee flavor.
This S’mores Iced Coffee has become my absolute favorite afternoon pick-me-up or a cheeky after-dinner treat. It’s so satisfying to make something so delicious and pretty right at home. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
