The heavy weight of expectation. 🕊️⚖️

I used to carry so much frustration, wondering why others couldn't meet me where I stood.

​But then, a quiet truth found me: My judgments of others were simply my own internal standards projected outward. I was holding people to contracts they never signed, measuring them by a ruler they never agreed to use.

​True peace arrived the moment I realized I don't have to hold anyone else to my own expectations.

​My standards are for my path. Their path is their own.

​When we release the need for others to be like us, we finally have the space to just be ourselves. Soft. Sovereign. And deeply at peace. ☁️🤍
