how about the ulta brand vanilla velour scent?! it smells SO GOOD! vanilla girlies you need it! #foryou #Lemon8Diary #beauty #ulta #haul
Stepping into Ulta always feels like finding hidden treasures, and my latest haul definitely didn't disappoint! There’s just something so exciting about browsing the aisles and discovering new beauty gems. This trip, my focus was really on finding some cozy, comforting scents and a reliable lip hydrator, and I think I hit the jackpot. The absolute standout for me this time is the Ulta Beauty Collection's 'Vanilla Velour' range. Seriously, if you're a vanilla enthusiast, you need to check this out. I picked up both the Hair and Body Mist and the Whipped Scented Body Butter, and let me tell you, they live up to the hype! First off, let's talk about the scent itself. It's not your artificial, overly sweet vanilla that can sometimes be cloying. This 'Vanilla Velour' is a warm, cozy, almost gourmand vanilla with a touch of sophistication. It reminds me of freshly baked vanilla sugar cookies but with a creamy, luxurious undertone that makes it perfect for everyday wear or even a cozy night in. It truly feels like wrapping yourself in a soft, vanilla-scented blanket – perfect for those chilly evenings or when you just want to feel comforted. The Whipped Scented Body Butter is divine. It's incredibly rich without being greasy, sinking into the skin beautifully and leaving it feeling super soft and hydrated. The scent lingers gently, making it perfect for layering. I love putting this on right after a shower – it locks in moisture and keeps that lovely vanilla fragrance close to my skin for hours. It’s also quite a generous tub, so you get a lot of product for your money. And the Hair and Body Mist? Chef's kiss! It's a lighter version of the fragrance, perfect for a quick refresh throughout the day or to extend the longevity of the body butter. I spritz it in my hair and on my clothes, and it just creates this lovely aura of vanilla wherever I go. For the price point, the quality of this scent is really impressive. What I appreciate most is that it’s a true, authentic vanilla that doesn't disappear quickly. It's budget-friendly yet smells high-end, making it accessible for everyone who loves a good vanilla fragrance. It's become a staple in my routine already, and I can honestly say it competes with some of my more expensive vanilla perfumes, offering that warm, inviting scent without breaking the bank. While the Vanilla Velour stole the show, I also grabbed something I've been eyeing for a while: the Colourpop Fresh Kiss Glossy Lip Balm. You know I can't resist a good lip product, especially one that promises both hydration and a pretty finish! I haven't had a chance to fully review this yet, but my initial thoughts are really positive. It glides on smoothly, feels hydrating, and leaves a beautiful, non-sticky glossy finish. The color I picked (it's a lovely pink, for those wondering!) gives just a hint of tint, perfect for a natural, 'my lips but better' look. I'm always on the hunt for a comfortable, everyday lip balm that also adds a little something extra, and this one seems incredibly promising. I'm excited to see how it wears throughout the day and if it truly lives up to its 'fresh kiss' name in terms of lasting comfort and shine. Overall, this Ulta trip was a huge success! I’m so glad I finally tried the Vanilla Velour line – it’s a definite repurchase for me, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a new signature cozy scent. And I’m looking forward to giving you all a more in-depth review of the Colourpop lip balm very soon. Have you tried any of these? What are your favorite Ulta picks lately? Let me know in the comments!
