pumpkin patch day w/ my girlies was so fun 🎃💕
Heading to a pumpkin patch in the fall is an absolute must, and my recent trip to Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch with my girlfriends was truly unforgettable! If you're looking for the ultimate autumn experience, this spot in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, is a gem. From the moment we arrived, the festive atmosphere just swept us away, making it clear why so many people make this an annual tradition. One of the first things we headed for was the famous corn maze. It's always a highlight for me, and this year's maze was particularly challenging and fun. We spent a good hour laughing, making wrong turns, and finally, celebrating our victory when we found our way out. It’s such a great activity to do with a group – you really bond over the shared challenge! My friend, Chachii, was convinced she had a secret shortcut through one of the trickier sections, but we ended up in the same dead ends together, which just added to the hilarity and charm of the experience. Of course, no pumpkin patch visit is complete without finding that perfect pumpkin. Boone Hall has an incredible selection, from tiny decorative gourds to giant, jack-o'-lantern-worthy pumpkins. We took our time wandering through the sprawling fields, carefully inspecting each one for the ideal shape and stem. It's amazing how much thought goes into choosing "the one" that will adorn your doorstep! We each picked out a few, already imagining all the carving and decorating we'd do later that week. There are also fantastic photo opportunities everywhere you look, with vibrant orange pumpkins against the rustic farm backdrop, perfect for those Instagram-worthy fall snaps. Beyond the corn maze and pumpkin picking, there's so much more to do. The classic hayride was a relaxing way to see more of the farm and enjoy the crisp fall air, offering picturesque views of the property. They also have a charming petting zoo, which is adorable, especially if you have little ones, but even as adults, we enjoyed seeing the friendly farm animals. The tractor rides are a blast, and for the more adventurous, there are usually some fun slides and bounce houses that add an extra layer of excitement to the day. What I loved most about Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch was the sheer variety of activities that genuinely cater to everyone. Whether you want to pick pumpkins, get delightfully lost in a maze, enjoy some delicious fall treats (their fresh-pressed apple cider and warm cider donuts are an absolute dream!), or just soak in the cozy autumn ambiance, you'll find something to love. It’s not just a place to visit; it’s an experience that truly embodies the spirit of fall and creates lasting memories. We spent hours there, and it felt like minutes. My top tip: wear comfortable closed-toe shoes suitable for walking through fields, and definitely bring your camera because you'll want to capture all those beautiful fall moments. It's the perfect place to create new traditions with your favorite people and embrace everything wonderful about autumn. I'm already looking forward to planning our next visit!
We were there today! So cute!!
