My Morning Walks

I have made it a goal to walk at least 10,000 steps a day and going on morning walks has been amazing. Sometimes I start at 4am and others at 6am. I have also started to take pictures of everything I find beautiful on my walks as a record.

I have been listening to Christ with Coffee on Ice by @Ally Yost and it has improved my morning routine so much.

I began walking early—sometimes as early as 4am—and found that the quiet of the morning hours offers a peaceful space to reflect and set positive intentions for the day ahead. Setting a goal like 10,000 steps is both motivating and achievable, giving a clear target to aim for. Capturing photos of beautiful scenes along the way helped me stay engaged and appreciate the small wonders of nature that can often go unnoticed. This practice has made my walks feel more meaningful and creative. Incorporating podcasts into my walk was a game changer. Listening to "Christ with Coffee on Ice," a faith-filled podcast, not only deepened my spiritual mindset but also energized me. Podcasts are a fantastic companion because they can uplift your mood, teach you new things, and help pass the time during exercise. If you’re looking to diversify your podcast choices, I’d recommend mixing genres—try motivational talks, health and fitness advice, or even storytelling podcasts depending on your mood. This variety keeps the experience fresh and exciting. Above all, consistency is key. Even on days when motivation dips, putting on your walking shoes and stepping outside can bring unexpected joy and clarity. For anyone wondering how to start, just take it step by step—literally—and soon morning fitness will become a cherished part of your routine.
