Lingerie party -Brunch

When my partner and I decided to host a lingerie party brunch for our friends last year, we wanted it to be unique, fun, and a little bit glamorous – not just another ordinary get-together! It was such a hit, especially as a pre-Valentine's Day celebration, and I've had so many friends ask for my tips, so I just had to share. First things first, get creative with your lingerie party theme. While 'lingerie' itself is the theme, you can refine it! Think 'Boudoir Chic,' 'Pajama Glam,' or even a 'Tropical Lingerie Fiesta' if you're feeling adventurous. For our brunch, we went for 'Sparkle & Lace,' using soft lighting, some fairy lights, and delicate lace runners on the tables. Simple decorations like fresh flowers and scented candles really set a sophisticated yet playful mood. Now, for the all-important lingerie menu and cuisine! A brunch naturally calls for delicious, easy-to-eat bites. We laid out a spread that was both indulgent and pretty. Think mini quiches, colorful fruit platters, fluffy pancakes or waffles with various toppings, and a selection of pastries. For drinks, a mimosa bar is an absolute must – let guests mix their own champagne with different juices like orange, cranberry, or grapefruit. Sparkling rosé also adds a lovely touch. Don't forget coffee and tea for those who prefer it! The key is presentation; make everything look as inviting as it tastes. The games were definitely a highlight of our party! We started with some fun icebreakers to get everyone laughing. One popular game was 'Lingerie Bingo,' where guests had unique bingo cards with different lingerie styles or colors, and they had to mark them off as people arrived or as they spotted them (in conversation, of course!). Another favorite was 'Guess the Lingerie Brand' trivia, which surprisingly got very competitive! We also did a 'Style Challenge' where everyone had to accessorize a simple camisole in a creative way using items we provided. It was hilarious and encouraged everyone to embrace their inner fashionista. These games were perfect for breaking the ice and keeping the energy high, especially for a bachelorette brunch! And of course, everyone wonders, what to wear to a lingerie brunch? This is where you can have so much fun! We encouraged our friends to come in their most stylish, comfortable, and chic brunch outfits that incorporated a hint of lingerie-inspired fashion. Some wore elegant silk slips or camisoles paired with tailored trousers or skirts, others opted for luxurious robes over cute pajamas, and a few even sported delicate lace details peeking out from under a blazer. The idea isn't to be overtly revealing, but to celebrate femininity and personal style in a playful way. It’s all about feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin. Hosting this kind of event doesn't have to be stressful. Plan your menu in advance, delegate tasks if you can, and most importantly, relax and enjoy the company of your friends. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate friendship, body positivity, and just have an excuse for a fabulous, themed get-together.
