How do you know you’re making the right choice? Do you have a random symbol that you ask God or the universe to show you to that you’re making the right choice? Or maybe you take universal signs for instance, I’ve dropped my coffee at my job twice this week. And I splurge on my coffee, at Starbucks, cause I literally walk less than 500 feet and I’m inside their store. I’ve decided to leave my toxic job of 5.5 years and I swear EVERYTHING is telling me to stick with it. But I’m not backing down. I won’t be walked all over by a corporation that doesn’t care about me. I put in over 100 in a week and was not compensated except for my regular 50 hour week salary. I’m done slaving for a company that will have me replaced by Monday.
... Read moreWow, your story about interpreting universe signs while making such a tough decision really resonated with me! It's so true how sometimes everything feels like a sign, especially when you're at a crossroads. I've been there, trying to figure out if the universe is nudging me forward or telling me to pump the brakes. It's not always easy to tell, is it?
Beyond the personal occurrences like dropping coffee, I've found that the universe speaks to us in so many other incredible ways. Have you ever noticed those repeating number sequences, like 11:11 or 333? Many believe these are 'angel numbers,' each carrying a specific message or a gentle reminder from our guides. I used to dismiss them as coincidence, but after seeing 222 every time I thought about a new creative project, I started paying attention, and it felt like a green light!
Then there are animal encounters. I remember feeling completely stuck on a personal issue, and a hummingbird, which I rarely see, suddenly hovered right outside my window for what felt like ages. A quick search told me hummingbirds often symbolize joy, lightness, and moving forward. It was exactly the message I needed to shake off my worries and approach things with a lighter heart. It's like the universe sends these little messengers just when you need them most.
Synchronicity is another fascinating one. It's those meaningful coincidences that can't just be random. Like thinking of an old friend and then bumping into them an hour later, or hearing a specific song with lyrics that perfectly answer a question you've been pondering. These moments always give me goosebumps and confirm that there's a bigger tapestry at play.
So, how do we actively tune into these signs, especially when we're looking for guidance? I see it like this: while there isn't a literal 'universe app' on our phones, we can create our own internal system or 'app' for connection. One of my favorite methods is setting a clear intention. Before I go to sleep or during meditation, I'll silently ask for clarity on a specific decision. Sometimes, the answer comes in a dream, or I wake up with a strong, undeniable feeling.
Journaling has also been my personal 'universe tracker.' I jot down any unusual sightings, recurring thoughts, significant dreams, or even strong gut feelings. Over time, patterns emerge, and it becomes easier to see the universe's narrative unfolding. It's like collecting little pieces of a puzzle.
And don't forget the power of your own intuition. Sometimes the 'sign' isn't external at all; it's that deep knowing in your gut, that inner voice that says, 'This feels right,' or 'Something's off.' Learning to distinguish between fear and true intuition is a journey in itself, but it’s probably the most powerful 'universe app' we have. It’s about listening to that quiet wisdom within, even when external signs seem to contradict it, just like you did with your job situation.
Ultimately, interpreting universe signs and symbols is a deeply personal process. There’s no single rulebook. It’s about cultivating awareness, staying open, and trusting that the universe is always communicating with us, guiding us on our path, especially during those big, life-changing moments.
Definitely not worth being walked all over! It’s so tricky cause the next company may do the same, but you’ll never know unless you try! I have a hard time interpreting signs. Maybe the universe is telling you no more splurging on Starbucks! lol jk but just an example :)
I get ittt maybe you should look for a better job and then leave unless you have some savings or something you can fall back on (: i despise my job it’s mostly the way the managers treat me I can’t stand it and everyone tells me that’s how it would be anywhere I work
