clean girl weekend look: comfy all black 🩰
i wore this outfit all day yesterday, from the movies to shopping to church then dinner with family. it’s comfortable and worked with everything. very minimal, just a simple wrap top that has a rose gold embellishment that matched my little coach stud earrings, something simple I wasn’t feeling any hoops or anything.
I paired it with these old navy high waisted fashion flare leggings, I got them in an xs & tall - i’m 5’9. they’re meant to have a cropped look which i was weary about, when you’re tall sometimes it can just look unintentional/too small. i was surprised i liked these leggings! i can see myself wearing them for days like this - it’s an elevated touch but so simple. then, a tabi flat and coach tote i’m out the door. 🩰
if you want this kind of look just go for simplicity, like all one color then accessorize ever so slightly. not even makeup. especially when it’s getting warmer i just want to focus on skincare and getting that right, any makeup is just a plus when your skin is happy 😊

When putting together an all-black weekend look like this, I’ve found that the key is prioritizing comfort without sacrificing style. The Old Navy high-waisted fashion flare leggings are a great staple, especially in the XS tall size for those who are taller. Their slightly cropped length adds a trendy edge and works well with flats or sneakers. Pairing them with a simple wrap top that has subtle rose gold details creates a nice focal point without overwhelming the outfit. Accessorizing is where you can really embrace minimalism. Instead of statement earrings or bold makeup, small stud earrings and a neutral tote like a Coach studded bag elevate the look with ease. Personally, I skip heavy makeup on these casual days and focus on skincare, aiming for a natural glow that enhances the 'clean girl' aesthetic. Another tip is to choose classic tabi flats that are comfortable for long days out—whether at the movies, shopping, church, or dinner. The flat option keeps the outfit grounded and adds to the effortless vibe. As the weather warms up, this kind of minimalist, monochromatic styling feels fresh and light. It’s versatile enough to adapt throughout the day and really highlights the power of simple, thoughtful fashion choices. For anyone exploring this look, I recommend experimenting with subtle details and focusing on how the pieces feel on your body to truly embrace comfort and elegance combined.
