Being diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer is a life-altering experience, filled with challenges and emotional turmoil. In August 2024, my life turned upside down when I received this diagnosis. As a single mother with two young children, the weight of my situation felt incredibly heavy. Throughout this journey, I've been grateful for platforms like TikTok, where generous individuals have opened their hearts to support me through fundraising efforts. The GoFundMe campaign I started has provided some relief from the financial strain of medical bills and rent, ultimately helping me keep a roof over my children's heads. As I prepare for my upcoming treatment in Houston, I hold onto hope and prayer for the funding support needed for my journey ahead. It’s not just about fighting cancer; it’s also about maintaining my role as a parent while navigating this overwhelming chapter in our lives.
