Part 4! Deku as a Pokémon!

It's always so much fun to imagine our favorite anime characters in the Pokémon universe, isn't it? The crossover potential with My Hero Academia is just incredible! Thinking about 'MHA as Pokémon' opens up a whole world of creative possibilities. Each quirk could be a unique ability, and hero costumes could inspire amazing creature designs. For me, it's about translating Deku's determination, his growth, and his different power stages into a Pokémon design. Would he start as a small, timid Grass-type, then evolve into a powerful Fighting/Electric type? The possibilities are endless! When I started thinking about Deku as a Pokémon, I really dove into his character. What makes him, him? I even looked at 'Deku's original design' concepts to see how his look evolved, as sometimes early ideas can spark new ones for a Pokémon form. For fellow artists wondering how to create their own 'MHA as Pokémon' designs, my advice is to blend the core aesthetics. Think about the character's personality, their defining abilities (quirks), and then match them with Pokémon types, abilities, and even habitats. If you're looking for a 'deku drawing reference' to create your own Pokémon crossover, consider his iconic Smash attacks, his green lightning, and even his different costume iterations. Each detail can be a clue to his Pokémon typing or abilities. Don't be afraid to experiment with color palettes and body shapes that echo both universes. What kind of moveset would your Deku-mon have? Would he learn 'Full Cowling Surge' or 'Detroit Smash Punch'? And speaking of evolution, imagine a 'Mega' Evolution for Deku-mon! What would that look like? Perhaps a form that fully unleashes One For All, with glowing green energy and incredible speed. I sometimes think about what his ultimate form might be named. Something like 'Vigilhog X' sounds like a powerful, perhaps slightly edgy evolution reflecting his heroic journey and the weight of his power. Or maybe a 'DARK' type aspect could come into play when he's pushing his limits, hinting at the dangerous side of One For All. MY HERO ACADEMIA is all about growth and overcoming challenges, which fits perfectly with the Pokémon evolution concept!
