Which Kobo Device should I Pick?

Which Kobo device I should get?

📕 Searching for my first e-reader device. I already decided to get a Kobo over a Kindle device. I would prefer the android user interface instead of the being locked into the kindle device

📗Kobo Clara HD Black&White:

I found this on Facebook market place for $80. It’s 6 inch screen and will fit in more purses, making it portable. This is not an entirely important factor because I don’t see myself reading outside my home for the most part, but would like the option. Furthermore, it is backlit and warm light adjustments - important for me because I like to read at night, in bed.

📘Kobo Libra 2 Black&White:

I found this on Facebook market place for $120. The scene is the same 6 inch but is wider because it has buttons. Buttons are a huge plus because I love physically pushing them. This in course makes it larger and less portable. This also is backlit and warm light adjustments.

📙Give advice and tell me what you like about your Kobo devices!

... Read moreWhen selecting a Kobo e-reader, it's essential to consider your reading preferences and lifestyle. The Kobo Clara HD is celebrated for its compact size, making it a favorite for readers on the go. It features a 6-inch screen with adjustable front lighting, perfect for dim reading conditions, ensuring that you can enjoy your books without straining your eyes. On the other hand, the Kobo Libra 2 caters to those who enjoy a larger device with physical buttons, adding tactile engagement to your reading experience. It also offers a 6-inch display but presents a wider form factor, ideal for users who prefer a more substantial grip. Like the Clara HD, it boasts warm light and backlight adjustments, enhancing the reading experience, especially in low-light settings. Both devices provide access to Kobo's vast eBook store and support for multiple file formats, making them versatile for any reader. If you read mostly at home and prefer a device with physical buttons for page turning, the Libra 2 might be your ideal choice. Conversely, if you seek portability and a lightweight option for sporadic reading sessions, the Clara HD is a compelling option. Ultimately, user preferences dictate the best choice—evaluate your reading habits and priorities before making a decision. Are you leaning toward the friendly portability of the Clara or the comfortable grip of the Libra? Your perfect Kobo awaits!

I prefer buttons too but the kobo 2 seems unnecessarily big. I feel like they could’ve put the buttons on the side without making that space so wide…
