We made it!!!

I cant believe I’m in the Third Trimester already!! I honestly had such a hard time connecting to this pregnancy at first because it didn’t even feel real. Even seeing the tests, throwing up multiple times a day, telling people, buying baby things, never really made it real. Now I feel his movements all the time and couldn’t hide that I’m showing if I wanted to, and it couldn’t feel more real and more terrifying. Every cramp (growing pains) makes me panic and when he naps for more than an hour or so I start to question when was the last time I really felt him move.

Ever since the fact that I am literally having a baby set in it makes me more terrified of anything that could happen. I will be 29 weeks on Monday and I have an appointment on Wednesday. I’m so excited to see my baby but also scared since I missed (skipped) my gestational diabetes test which was my last appointment so it’s been almost a month since I’ve been in.

Anyway! I am so so excited for February. 💙🍼

... Read moreThe third trimester is a transformative period in pregnancy, filled with anticipation and challenges. As you approach the final weeks, preparing for your baby's arrival can be both thrilling and overwhelming. It's essential to maintain regular prenatal appointments for monitoring the baby's health and addressing any concerns. Many expectant mothers experience increased anxiety during this phase as the reality of parenthood sets in. To ease these worries, consider joining prenatal classes to connect with other moms-to-be, share experiences, and learn coping techniques. Engaging in relaxation techniques such as prenatal yoga or meditation may also help manage stress. Additionally, keep an eye on fetal movements—counting kicks can provide reassurance about your baby's well-being. Remember, it's vital to communicate openly with healthcare providers about any fears or questions you may have, particularly regarding tests like gestational diabetes. Cherishing the moments as your due date approaches, such as organizing a baby shower or creating a nursery, can also enhance the experience, making the journey toward motherhood even more fulfilling. Embrace this beautiful time and know you're not alone in navigating the joys and uncertainties of pregnancy!
