THIRTEEN!
1️⃣3️⃣ days!! 11,919 steps!! Ludacris is MVP today getting me through! 😂💪🏼
Getting through those intense workout days? You totally get it! For me, hitting 11,919 steps and pushing through a 'Rolling Hills Fitness Test' on the treadmill wouldn't be the same without my ultimate workout playlist. And let me tell you, Ludacris's 'Battle of the Sexes Deluxe Edition' is an absolute MVP for keeping my energy levels high. There's something about the beats and lyrics from songs like 'How Low' that just pushes you to keep going, even when you feel like slowing down. If you're looking for an album to power your next session, give it a listen – the album cover itself is iconic and sets the mood! Speaking of treadmills, achieving mileage like 4 miles or even more can feel daunting, but it's totally doable! I love integrating different programs like the 'Rolling Hills Fitness Test' I mentioned earlier. It helps simulate outdoor running and challenges your endurance and speed in varied ways. To really boost your step count and improve your cardiovascular health, try interval training. For example, walk fast for 5 minutes, then jog for 2 minutes, increasing your speed slightly with each cycle. Don't be afraid to experiment with the incline too – even a slight incline can make a huge difference in calorie burn and muscle engagement. Keeping an eye on your pace and how much speed you're gaining each week is incredibly motivating! But it's not just about the workout; what you put into your body is just as crucial. After a good session, I always make sure to refuel with something packed with protein. My go-to is often a Premier Protein Bake Shop Cake Batter shake – that 30g of protein and low calories really helps with muscle recovery without undoing all the hard work. And for meals, I'm all about healthy, delicious options. Grilling some shrimp and fish fillets, seasoned just right, with a big side of fresh greens, shredded carrots, and mushrooms, makes for a satisfying and nutritious dinner. It feels so good to nourish my body with meals like these after pushing myself. It’s all part of building that #strongoverskinny lifestyle and staying consistent with my #healthylifestyle2024 goals. What are your favorite post-workout meals or motivational albums?
