She was born December 16th 1775. She wrote several novels on the subject of love including the most famous enemies to lovers ever: Pride and Prejudice 💕
I remember reading her novels with my mother. We would talk about the prose and plot for hours. In college I had a class all about Austen’s works. All the students were girls like me. Last week a coworker asked if I had seen Emma with Mia Goth. We had a great chat about the film. The romance genre is Jane’s doing and it’s been bringing women together for centuries.
