You guys know I LOVE Arizona but I actually HATED it for a second…so here’s a very regular day in my life while I tell you all about that era and how I romanticize my life now :)
after traveling so much and living in different places, I’ve learned I can be happy anywhere, so I think a big aspect of me loving it is my mindset shift and looking for the opportunities that ARE here vs what isn’t. 🫶 that being said, MOVE & change your environment if you really aren’t happy or you genuinely want to be somewhere else!

Living in Arizona brought me on an incredible journey from frustration to love. Initially, I struggled with the heat and the limitations I felt in my environment. However, through travel and exposure to different cultures, I realized that happiness is largely a mindset. My experience taught me the importance of seeking out opportunities instead of focusing on what's lacking. Today's world allows for endless exploration and adaptability. Whether it's moving to a new city like Phoenix, immersing yourself in local culture, or simply becoming a tourist in your own city, these shifts can help you fall in love with your surroundings. One of the first steps in this transformation is changing your thinking. Embrace the idea that every location has potential, and it's about how you look for opportunities. Romanticizing your life isn't just a superficial trend; it's about cultivating a mindset where you minutely appreciate everyday moments. Phoenix offers unique adventures, from desert hikes to exploring vibrant local arts, and can spark joy even in the mundane. I encourage you to take the leap if you feel restless—change your environment, and you might just change your life too! With the right mindset and willingness to explore, you might surprise yourself with how much you can truly love where you are.
