If you lose friends on one platform
So yesterday I lost some friends on one platform but I'm still friends as far as I know on another. What do I do? Just say fuck them? I knew one person for years and the other about a year... I was told I'm too negative to be in their group... I guess I suck? What should I do?#shittyfriend #needs more friends #nofriends
Feeling like you've lost friends on social media can be a hard pill to swallow. It's essential to remember that social media doesn't define your worth or the friendships that matter. Often, our online interactions can be a reflection of our real lives, but they don't always depict the whole story. It's natural to feel hurt or confused, especially if you've cultivated strong connections with people for years. When dealing with friend loss, consider evaluating the relationships that remain. Are those connections supportive and uplifting? Focusing on nurturing positive friendships can enrich your social experience. One way to handle the grief of losing friends online is through self-reflection. Ask yourself what values and traits you seek in friendships. If negativity is a concern cited by others, think about the circumstances that lead to those feelings. Are they based on isolated incidents, or could they reflect deeper issues you might want to address? Additionally, exploring new social circles both online and offline can be beneficial. Join new groups that align with your interests, attend events, or engage in communities that value authenticity and positivity. The right friends will appreciate you for who you are. Lastly, never underestimate the power of communication. If comfortable, reach out to the friends you've lost to learn more about their perspectives. Understanding their reasons can provide closure and insight that help you navigate future relationships more effectively. Remember, it's okay to feel sad, but it's also essential to focus on those who uplift you and enhance your well-being.
