Pink in ❤️‍🩹 Cover Design

I’m always thinking about books. Forever fascinated by cover designs.

Right now, I’m reading Middle Spoon by Alejandro Varela which has a bold pink cover. It’s also about heartbreak.

Here’s where I had a “hey wait a second moment…”—why is it that my all my heartache books have BIG pink elements in their covers? Is this a little trend in cover design??? I kind of love it! Pink is so cheery (which you need to get through heartache) but it’s also the color of open wounds and cried out eyes. So, it’s very fitting.
