Numerology says that 2024 is a “5” year for me. A year of FREEDOM & EXPLORATION! 🏄🏽♀️
That it would be a good year to travel, express my creativity, network, and have adventures.
After ending a 3 year relationship, I thought: “perfect 👍🏽”
So I ran it back on one of my favorite pastimes — blogging. (hey! to all my former blogspot.com girlies! 🙋🏽♀️)
To do that, I revived an idea I had for a newsletter where readers could be put on to a never-ending assortment artsy-cool-girl lifestyle things.
BUT I learned a newsletter alone just will not cut it.
I want to explore my teenage dreams of being a professional internet surfer, that maybe writes beauty/style columns for magazines & moonlights a poet and visual artist. A real creative, fun b*tch.
The ONLY thing that makes sense is BUILDING A WEBSITE: You can make whatever you want, whenever you want, and connect with whomever without worrying about upsetting an algorithm. With a website, you no longer compare yourself to anyone because there’s only YOU.
Lemon8 is the only “social media” I have after being off IG, Twitter & FB. The algorithm here is honestly wonky & so it feels “free” to post. So I know if you’re reading this far, you’re probably part of the community I see myself in. But I’m not gonna keep up this space for long.
