The “Bring Thai Elephants Home” group has been repeatedly accused of being a fraudulent movement.

We respond point by point as follows:

1️⃣ If this were fabricated, it would not have entered formal state review processes.

The matter has been formally submitted to Thailand’s Office of the Ombudsman Thailand for consideration.

An independent constitutional body does not accept or review baseless claims without legal grounds.

The fact that this issue is under official examination reflects that there are legitimate legal and factual concerns.

2️⃣ Repeated accusations without evidence are an attempt to divert from the substance.

Instead of engaging with documented concerns about the welfare and legal status of Thai elephants abroad, critics resort to attacking the credibility of citizens who raise questions.

This does not invalidate the issue itself.

3️⃣ The movement has no hidden financial or political agenda.

There has been no fundraising, no commercial gain, and no personal benefit sought.

The sole objective is transparency, accountability, and protection of the dignity of Thai elephants sent abroad as goodwill representatives.

4️⃣ Calling for review does not undermine international relations.

In modern international law, cooperation between states is built upon accountability, ethical responsibility, and compliance with international obligations.

Requesting clarification and review through lawful channels strengthens, rather than weakens, diplomatic integrity.

5️⃣ Exercising constitutional rights is not creating division.

Submitting petitions, gathering public support, and seeking official responses are lawful civic actions within a democratic framework.

Closing Statement:

Those who fear scrutiny often attempt to discredit those who request it.

But truth does not collapse under accusation.
