There are days when the last thing I want to do is work out. Days when my body’s tired, my spirit feels off, or I’m just not motivated. But I’ve learned by motivation comes and goes, discipline has to stay.
For me, discipline isn't just about fitness. it's a spiritual posture.
It’s showing up and saying, “Lord, I’ll be faithful in this, even when I don’t feel like it.”
That’s how I’ve grown. That’s how strength is built, in the natural and in the Spirit.
Don’t leave God outside the gym.
Invite Him in before the warmup.
Pray while you stretch. Thank Him between sets. Let every drop of sweat say, “I’m still here, Lord. I’m stewarding what You gave me.”
Worship isn’t just singing.
Worship is choosing to grow.
Worship is perseverance.
Worship is not giving up.
Meal prep isn’t about a perfect body it’s about purpose.
How can we walk in the calling if we’re always tired, foggy, sluggish, unprepared?
You can’t run on fumes and fulfill the mission.
Prepping your meals is spiritual stewardship.
You’re saying:
“God, I take this seriously. I want to be sharp. I want to be ready. I want to show up full!! not just spiritually, but physically.”
And you don’t have to be a pro. Just start small.
God honors effort, not perfection.
