HEALTH IS WEALTH!! 💥
Chile. I am 4 months postpartum and I am trying to get back into my fitness lifestyle. Honestly, I’m struggling. Ugh. One week is good and the next week is an epic fail! 😩I absolutely love working out. The routine of it. The self discipline. And of course THAT BODY! 😍😍
I worked out 5 days a week. Sometimes twice a day before I got pregnant with our son. 🌈 😙 (I have three churin. 💞🩵) I had a miscarriage in 2022 and I just needed something. And that ‘something’was a lot of Jesus & the gym. It became a lifestyle for me. God knows what you need when you need it! Living in Okinawa, Japan is a fun, free feeling, and peaceful adventure. But in a way you’re always trying to figure it out. Thank God for the immense amount of support from my husband and my family and friends back home. God carried me through all that! And then boom. My hairstylist, Jennifer just randomly invited me to yoga one Sunday morning at 8 o’clock! From then, it was up! I became part of the “Misfits” a group of women who embraced me to the fullest! We had a ball in and out the gym! Working out was second nature to me. If I couldn’t make it to the gym, Chile I would get mad! 😡 (🫣) I done hit the curve, bust my tire, called my husband at 5 o’clock in the morning to come put that donut 🍩 on so I could get my tail to the gym! 😂 (That was a Friday! The Marines at the gate came running to my car!) 😳 #militarywife
So, anyways, when I found out that I was pregnant 🤭 the plan and the goal was to continue to workout. Long story short, I went to the gym three times when I was pregnant. 🤫 However, I walked A LOT!! (I would go to the gym and walk around the track or my neighborhood.)
Now, I’m just really trying to get back to it! Of course, ‘I want my body back.’ 😆 But I also want, what I really want, is the structure, the routine, and the healthy lifestyle just in general working out gives me! 😌
Chile, I done said all that to ask one question 😂, HAVE YOU TRIED THIS? I am trying to be on a smoothie kick. I want to make that a habit again as well too. I would like to make a smoothie for breakfast for sure. I’m not always hungry in the morning. But I can sip on something healthy and tasty! I always add spinach to my smoothies!! You?? And maybe I can do like a late night smoothie at night when I’m starving but I’m really not. It’s just something about being up late and tv that makes you hungry. Or is it me?? 👀
