morning glories that bloomed this morning 🫧🌸

I planted morning glories & moonflowers for my balcony garden 🪴 they hug the railings & provide privacy with their heart shaped leaves & beautiful flowers that pop up in random places each morning. I know they’re an invasive plant, but if you keep them in pots & live in an apartment they’re great a great plant to have. I’ve had so much fun watching them grow & spread all over my balcony, I love sitting outside it feels so dreamy with all of the vines & flowers 🌱 each morning a new flower blooms in a random spot, it opens in the morning & starts to close around 1pm, then fades & die. The next day a new one pops up somewhere else 🩷

the moon flowers are fun to have, I haven’t seen a flower bloom yet, but I’m excited to see one. The flowers are really big & open up in the evening & last all night until dawn. At dawn the flowers close, fade & die just like the morning glories. I’ll continue to post about this plant on my account, so get ready for more flower updates 🌸🌼🌷✨ #morningglory #moonflower #trellisideas #balconyideas #flowers

... Read moreMorning glories (Ipomoea purpurea) are adored not just for their delightful blooms but also their ability to thrive in container gardens, making them ideal for apartments and balconies. These fast-growing, vine-like plants can quickly transform a mundane railing into a green oasis. While they are considered invasive if planted in the ground, keeping them in pots helps manage their spread effectively. Each morning, the flowers bloom for only a short time, reminding garden lovers to appreciate each delicate blossom. This unique blooming cycle makes for an exciting daily routine, as the flowers open at sunrise and close by the afternoon. It's a stunning spectacle of nature that connects gardeners with the rhythm of the day. Additionally, moonflowers (Ipomoea alba) add a contrasting beauty by blooming in the evening, offering an enchanting night display. Their large, white flowers can create a breathtaking view under the moonlight, bringing an ethereal charm to any backdrop. For anyone looking to cultivate a balcony garden filled with color and life, morning glories and moonflowers are excellent choices. Ensure they receive plenty of sunlight, along with appropriate watering and potting to flourish. With a little care, these plants can provide endless joy and aesthetic pleasure, making every afternoon and evening a little more magical!
