My Disney World Inspired Date (under $30!!)
Every month we each have to plan a date night. One has to be in the house, the other outside the house and we swap every month.
July was my month to do an indoor date. I did a little running around to get the best deal (Walmart, Aldi, and dollar tree). We budget $60 total for both of our dates per month. We were REALLY missing Disney last month, so I wanted to put on a Disney movie we haven’t seen and eat all yummy foods. I 100% recommend having an at home Disney day.

Planning a budget-friendly date night at home can be a delightful experience, especially when you're inspired by Disney magic. Imagine creating an enchanting atmosphere with your favorite Disney movies streaming in the background, indulging in themed snacks that transport you to the parks. For instance, you might replicate the flavors of iconic Disney dining with tasty treats like mini corn dog nuggets reminiscent of Casey's Corner, or try 'Ohana's POG juice by mixing passion fruit, orange, and guava juices, easily sourced from your local store. To elevate the experience, you could create a DIY 'Gray Stuff' dessert, inspired by Beauty and the Beast. With simple ingredients from your pantry or a quick run to Walmart or Aldi, you can whip up these delightful treats, making your romantic evening even sweeter. Don't forget to get creative with decor – perhaps some fairy lights and Disney-themed table settings to set the mood. Budgeting for dates is a smart way to maintain financial health while still enjoying quality time together. By keeping your monthly date expenses under $60 combined, you can explore new themes and ideas each month. If you're looking to recreate the excitement of Disney in your own home, planning a 'Disney Day' can be a magical way to reminisce while creating new memories together!
