Things I am removing for my nervous system ✨

What if regulating your nervous system isn’t about adding more… but removing what’s overstimulating you? ✨ If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in your head, it might not be a mindset problem, it could be your nervous system asking for less input and more safety.

Right now, I’m experimenting with removing things that keep my body in a constant state of stress: perfectionism, constantly checking my phone, information overload, rushing through everything, and replaying conversations in my head. These habits can keep you in overthinking, tension, and that “tired but wired” feeling so many of us experience daily. 🤨

As a mental health therapist, I see this all the time, people trying to do more to feel better, when sometimes the real shift happens when we slow down and create space. Nervous system regulation can be simple: less pressure, less stimulation, less urgency.💕

If you’ve been trying to calm your anxiety, build self-trust, or feel more present, start by asking yourself: what can I remove? Because your healing doesn’t have to be complicated.😘

Save this for later and follow along for real-life nervous system regulation tips, mental wellness support, and simple tools that actually work 🤍
