Labs in nursing school 🫁🫀🩺

Everyone in nursing school is always creeped out by the dummies we practice on. They are kind of creepy looking especially since they blink & such. But it’s nice being able to practice nursing interventions on them instead of being out doing it on a real person feeling embarrassed because you’re learning. Either way, you should never feel embarrassed when you’re learning, all doctors & nurses had to start from scratch too. Knowledge will always be power. As we learn no one can take that away from us. I always feel so empowered after finishing my exams & moving onto the next chapter, it’s called growth ✨ nursing school is so rewarding. It’s so stressful but it definitely pushes you, & in a way I love it. Anyways, I just wanted to share my little thoughts about nursing school at the moment 💛 glad to have 🍋8 back !#nursingschool #nursingstudent #nursingjourney #collegelife #nursingstudentlife

... Read moreNursing school is an adventure filled with both thrilling and daunting experiences. One of the standout features is the use of realistic simulation mannequins, designed to mimic human responses like blinking, breathing, and having a pulse. These ‘dummies’ help students safely hone their skills before entering the clinical environment. Such practice is essential; imagine stepping into clinicals without ample preparation! Not only do simulation sessions bolster confidence, but they also enhance critical thinking and technical skills—vital for a successful nursing career. In a nursing program, knowing the vital signs and understanding how to monitor them correctly can make all the difference. With tools like Safe-Touch Bicusennitrile gloves in practice labs, students gain the hands-on experience necessary for real-life situations. Furthermore, emotional resilience is cultivated throughout the course, as peers support each other through the highs and lows of the nursing journey. Ultimately, nursing school equips students with not just technical know-how but also the interpersonal skills and confidence needed in healthcare settings. Growing together and learning from each experience, nursing students build a foundation that will carry them through their professional lives.
