When I have “NOTHING TO WEAR” is a LIE 😂

I’m ALWAYS saying “I have nothing to wear” every time an event pops up… or even when I just want to dress cute just because 😩

Whole time… my closet said LIAR 😂

I realized I have CLOTHESSSS. Like real outfits. The problem?

I only wear them for photoshoots, birthday dinners, or special moments and then they NEVER see the light of day again.

So this year, that changes.

Welcome to me remixing looks I’ve worn and where I shop my own closet, remix old looks, and actually wear the pieces I already own ✨

No excuses, just fits.

Stay tuned because these outfits deserve freedom

... Read moreOkay, let's be real. We've ALL stood in front of a packed closet, convinced we have absolutely nothing to wear. I used to do it constantly, buying new things for every event, only to feel overwhelmed and still declare, 'I have nothing to wear!' But recently, I started a personal challenge to truly embrace what I already own, and it's been a total game-changer. It’s not about buying more; it's about seeing your wardrobe with fresh eyes and rediscovering the treasures you already have. Believe me, #Wegotclothesathome! First off, a major declutter can work wonders. If you haven't worn something in a year, or it doesn't make you feel good, it's time to let it go. Create space so you can actually see your clothes. This process alone often reveals items you completely forgot about, instantly expanding your options. Next, try on everything! Seriously. Put on an old dress, then try it with a belt, a jacket, different shoes, or even layered over a top. You'd be amazed how a simple accessory or a new layering technique can transform an entire look. This is my go-to for 'restyling' and discovering 'my favorite pieces' all over again. Another tip that has saved me so much time and stress? Create outfit 'uniforms' or 'formulas.' For example, a great pair of jeans + a chic top + simple sneakers. Or a midi skirt + a tucked-in tee + ankle boots. Once you have a few go-to combinations that you know work and make you feel good, getting dressed becomes so much easier. I even take photos of outfits I love so I can remember them later. It's like having a personal lookbook right on my phone, making future outfit decisions a breeze! Don't underestimate the power of layers and mixing textures. A silk camisole under a chunky knit, or a denim jacket over a floral dress – these simple additions can totally refresh an outfit you thought was stale. Challenge yourself: pick one item you haven't worn in ages and try to create three new outfits around it. Look for inspiration on Lemon8 or Pinterest with similar pieces you already own. You'll be surprised by your creativity and how many amazing outfits you can pull together just by shopping your own closet. It truly proves that we really do have clothes at home, just waiting to be rediscovered and loved again!
