On the ‘Mist Trail’ at Yosemite
This was my first hike & it did not disappoint! ☀️🌲
it’s called ‘mist trail’ for a reason! as you go up the trail and pass the waterfall, it mists all over you! Warning; you will get wet!! 🚿

📍 Location: Yosemite National Park, California.
🥾: Mist Trail
Yosemite National Park is renowned for its stunning landscapes, and the Mist Trail is one of the most popular hiking paths within the park. This trail is famous for its close proximity to Vernal and Nevada Falls, where hikers can feel the mist from the waterfalls while experiencing dramatic views. The Mist Trail is approximately 3 miles round trip to Vernal Falls, with a challenging elevation gain that rewards hikers with incredible vistas. For those looking to extend their hike, you can continue to Nevada Falls, making it a 7-mile round trip. When you plan your hike, make sure to check the weather conditions and trail accessibility, especially during the spring when runoff may make the trails slick. It's advisable to wear appropriate hiking gear, including sturdy shoes, and be prepared to get wet from the waterfall mist. Bring plenty of water and snacks to keep your energy up during the hike. Remember to stay on designated paths and pack out what you pack in to keep this natural wonder pristine. Whether you're hiking solo, with friends, or family, the Mist Trail offers breathtaking experiences and unforgettable memories—making it a must-visit for any outdoor enthusiast!
