5 techniques to use NotebookLM🎯
Wherever you look, everyone's talking about AI. 🤖
Today we want to introduce another AI that we used, Love.
Well, that's NotebookLM from Google.
You are very easy to use, just upload the file > You will take the information that we upload to answer questions, Jane Podcast, VDO, Slide presentation, quiz, etc. (Use on the computer to add more variations to Jane), can be used on both computer and mobile 💻📱
NotebookLM from Google is a very powerful tool for work, because the highlight is to "Grounding" or answering questions based only on the data we upload (reducing the likelihood of AI mixing data or hallucinate).
This is a NotebookLM implementation technique to increase productivity.
1. 📂 Source Management Techniques
The centerpiece of NotebookLM is the "Source" or source you enter for it.
• Create "Project Brain": Do not upload a single file, look at one Notebook, one project, you can combine a variety of files, such as
• PDF Annual Report
• Google Slides Customer Presenter
• Rival website links
• Text file, meeting record
• NotebookLM will read all this information and link it to each other immediately.
• Use YouTube as a source: Most recently, you can paste a YouTube link (with subtitles / Caption) to allow the AI to summarize the content from the video, or find moments that discuss important matters without sitting and watching until the end.
2. 🔍 Analysis and Summarization Techniques
Instead of just "summarize," try a more specific statement:
• Cross-Source Analysis (Cross-File Analysis): "Compare marketing strategies from file A to file B, which points are contradictory?"
• Thematic Search (Theme Search): "Please list the five main points mentioned repeatedly in these 10 meeting notes."
• Timeline Creation: "Help create a Timeline of milestones from all these documents, sorted by date."
3. 🎧 Audio Overview Technique (Change Document to Podcast)
This feature is a dead stick for people who don't have time to read (or are lazy to read).
• Listen on the Go: Press the Audio Overview button to let two AI hosts a conversation podcast about the data you upload.
• Use to check understanding: Sometimes listening to people talk about our work will show us new perspectives or points that we overlook in documents.
• > Remarks: Currently, the conversation voice is also in English (even if the source information is in Thai, AI will talk in English about that Thai content), which is very suitable for practicing built-in language.
4. ✍️ Repurposing Contents
Use NotebookLM as a personal "Ghostwriter."
• Docs to FAQ: Upload the Staff or Product Manual and say, "Write down the 10 FAQ questions that customers are most likely to ask from this set of data."
• Report to Email: "Help draft an email to summarize the contents of this report to send to the team leader, focusing only on budget and schedule."
• Study Guide: For learning new tasks, "Please take five exams to test my understanding of this document with answers."
5. ✅ Validation Techniques (Citations)
The best thing about NotebookLM is its reliability.
• Click on the number: Every time NotebookLM answers a question, there is a Citation. Click on that number, it will immediately take you to jump to the "original paragraph" in the PDF or Doc file.
• Confirm information: When you need to complete a report, use this feature to verify that AI does not deduce distorted meanings from the original.
Anyone who tries and likes or has any kind of technique to talk to each other. 🥰
