Restarting Games on my switch!
#gamergirl #lemon8challenge #Lemon8Diary
So my switch has been down twice before. This is my 3rd time (YES T H I R D) playing through Pokémon Violet. The last time I even did half the dlc. I’m annoyed but I’m so determined to fully get through this game again. Maybe this time I’ll have an even better team!
I also have had to restart my Animal Crossing island (long live the isle formerly known as “Corona” 😩😂). I literally started my original island maybe the same week the pandemic started. I was very attached to it and almost refused to restart a brand new island. But my little cousin is playing with her mom and it pulled at my heart. So now we’re all playing together. It’s a good time.
So y’all pray for my sanity as I revisit these games ONCE AGAIN. And also 🤞🏽cross our fingers 🤞🏽that this switch stays safe and sound this time around.
Restarting video games can evoke strong feelings, especially when it comes to popular titles like Pokémon and Animal Crossing, which have captivated gamers worldwide. For many, these games are more than mere entertainment; they evoke nostalgia and belonging. When you restart Pokémon Violet, you're not just replaying a game; you're embarking on a new adventure where strategy and team-building take center stage. As players engage in training to create the ultimate Pokémon team, they often discover new strategies and tap into the game's community for tips and tricks. On the other hand, reinitiating an Animal Crossing island—especially one that’s nostalgic like “Corona”—provides a unique emotional journey. Players often find joy in redesigning their landscapes, reconnecting with animal villagers, and diving into the seasonal events that make this game special. Families often come together in multiplayer modes, bringing a sense of community and a shared experience that amplifies the joy of gameplay. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just diving back into these beloved titles, your experiences can lead to new friendships and memories. Restarting can be frustrating but is also an opportunity to embrace change, learn, and enjoy gaming afresh.
