Trying to get that one shot while your cat gives you a 'slightly displeased expression' or decides to look away at the crucial moment. But with a bit of patience (and a few treats!), we managed to get some truly adorable shots that perfectly embody that cozy fall feeling. Those candid moments often turn out to be the most precious. I found that Mittens was much more cooperative when she thought she was just hanging out, rather than being 'posed.' I love decorating with safe, non-toxic fall plants and making sure Mittens has plenty of warm spots to curl up in. A sunbeam filtering through the window onto a soft cat bed, with a view of the colorful autumn leaves outside, is her idea of heaven.
