Transparent moment… With God, all things are possible.
These photos are from a weight loss competition that I just finished for the first time ever and I decree that I will be the grand prize winner/champion (touch and agree lol). This right here is surreal for me.
Not just because of the physical transformation—but because of what God has done in my mind, my discipline, my life, and my spirit.
There was a time when I was overcome by PTSD and gained 200lbs.
There was a time I couldn’t see this version of me.
There was a time I felt stuck.
There was a time I questioned if real change was even possible.
But God…
These photos represent 8 weeks of commitment—but also years of growth, setbacks, lessons, and grace. From my first competition in 2020 to now… this is more than progress—this is transformation.
And I’ll be honest… sometimes it’s hard to see how far you’ve come when you’re the one walking it every day.
But today—I see it.
And more importantly, I feel it.
Let me say this to anyone who needs it:
You don’t have to stay where you are.
You don’t have to live defeated.
You don’t have to accept a version of yourself that God never called you to be.
With God, change is not only possible—it’s promised through obedience, discipline, and faith.
I’m truly enjoying life in this season.
And I’m grateful… for all of it.
I am a son of God.
I am made righteous through Christ Jesus.
And this is just the beginning.

From my experience, the journey to transformation is never just about the physical changes—it’s about the inner renewal that powers true lasting results. When I first gained 200lbs due to PTSD, I felt lost in a cycle of defeat and self-doubt. What helped me break free was embracing faith as a guiding light combined with developing daily disciplines that fostered growth. For anyone facing similar struggles, it’s essential to remember that transformation involves patience and grace. Progress doesn’t happen overnight; it’s shaped by consistent effort and learning from setbacks rather than being discouraged by them. I committed to an 8-week weight loss competition not just to lose weight but to reclaim my spirit and mindset. Along the way, I found strength in trusting that God’s promises of change are accessible through outward obedience and inward faith. Moreover, communities and supportive hashtags like #GodIsGood and #KingChronicles stand as reminders that no one has to walk this path alone. Sharing your story, even the vulnerable parts, can inspire others and build accountability. Everyday habits such as prayer, journaling, and maintaining a disciplined workout routine became pillars in my transformation. Seeing how far I’ve come now helps me appreciate the depth of change—it’s tangible in my body but more profound in my renewed sense of purpose and mental clarity. For those stuck in self-defeating cycles, know this: you do not have to settle for a version of yourself that doesn’t reflect your true potential. Change is not just possible; it’s promised for those willing to persevere with faith and dedication. This season I am learning to enjoy the life I’m building, grateful for all challenges and growth. My story is a testament that transformation is multi-dimensional—melding physical health, mental healing, and spiritual rebirth. If you’re ready to start your own journey, embrace the process and trust that with God, all things are possible.
