Welp here I am
I’ve been thinking about doing this for the past couple of years, but I’ve never had the guts to actually do it. Out of the blue weeks ago and I decided I was going to do it. I jumped the gun I got everything I needed and today was my first official day of selling at the farm.
And the feedback that I got was amazing. I’m not gonna lie. I was scared shitless every time somebody tried something but so far all I’ve gotten back with good comments and I personally think that they don’t taste that good because I’m biased and scared but every person who has tried them, has only given me good compliments. So soon I’ll be opening up my own little walk up bakery pickup!
Embracing the journey of entrepreneurship can be both exhilarating and daunting, especially for a mompreneur like me. With the aspiration to create a welcoming space for baked goods, I've taken the leap to start my own bakery, Hannah's Dessert Barn. As a mom with an idea, I committed to going full force and was pleasantly surprised by the positive reception I received on my first day at the farm. In today's world, more mothers are exploring the realm of business, driven by their passion and creativity. The process of transitioning from an idea to reality involves planning, organization, and a healthy dose of courage. I believe that sharing the stories of other mompreneurs can inspire others who dream of opening their own ventures, showcasing that success often comes from taking that first bold step. It’s essential to build a community around your venture. Engaging with local patrons not only provides valuable feedback but also creates loyal customers who appreciate the effort and love put into each product. As Hannah's Dessert Barn prepares for a grand opening, I aim to connect with everyone's taste buds while nurturing the relationships I build along the way. In this journey, every compliment and constructive feedback helps shape the identity of my bakery, reinforcing my belief in the power of entrepreneurship.
