Last pump of the night! 3oz total

Last pump of the night was from 11:00-11:30 we were on our way home from our friends house and I got 3oz!

A tip to extra milk is definitely spending time with friends and family that make you happy!

making the total 9.5 for the day!

Our goal to meet now is 72oz in 18 days!

Do you think we’ll make it??

Just like the last pump captured here that yielded 3oz, I’ve found that relaxing activities and surrounding myself with supportive friends and family boost my milk flow. Tracking daily output like the 9.5oz mentioned in this post helps set achievable goals, such as the target of 72oz in 18 days. To reach such milestones, I recommend scheduling regular pump sessions and combining them with skin-to-skin contact with your baby when possible. This natural stimulation can increase oxytocin levels, encouraging let-down reflex. Another tip is drinking plenty of fluids and ensuring proper hydration, which aids milk production. Incorporating nutrient-rich foods and breastmilk-boosting herbs like fenugreek or blessed thistle after consulting a healthcare provider can also help. Remember, every mom’s body responds differently, so patience and mindfulness are key. Celebrate small wins like a 3oz pump, and use them as motivation to continue your breastfeeding journey with confidence. Connecting with mom communities, as tagged here (#Lemon8Mom, #pumpingmom), can provide emotional support and practical advice along the way.
