summer LOVIN’
#summervibes #lemon8contest #catmom #rescuecat #toddlermom
Well this summer has been so damn busy yall.
I’ve been working my literal ass off and I’m tired.
I’ve been trying to keep healthy foods in the fridge and gear up for the upcoming school year for the boys.
I also would like to start posting my two rescue cats more!!
This is Sunny ☀️ he has a twin sister named Luna 🌙
They are a little over a year old and they are totally crazy wild zoomie cats, my daughter has no fear with them and Sunny usually is pretty chill but he scratched her the other day!
We have had them since they’ve been 11 weeks and we rescued them from the AllyCat rescue house in Cincinnati Ohio!
They come chipped, spayed / neutered and vaccinated!
They even have a free clinic to bring for updates.
It’s crazy to think I’ve almost had them a year now.
So much has changed in a year but I’d love to finish my summer strong!
Rescuing and caring for cats like Sunny and Luna provides immense rewards and responsibilities. Rescue cats often come vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped, as mentioned with the AllyCat rescue house in Cincinnati, Ohio, ensuring they have a safe start in a new home. Routine visits to free clinics for updates on vaccinations and health checks can help maintain their wellbeing. These active "zoomie cats" require plenty of playtime and engagement to manage their energy and prevent behaviors like scratching, which can become an issue, especially around toddlers. Maintaining a healthy summer lifestyle amidst a busy schedule, including back-to-school preparations, is crucial for family wellbeing. Stocking up on nutritious foods helps keep energy levels high and supports immune health - a perfect complement to managing active pets and kids. Grapes, referenced as a perfect summer snack, can be delicious, but it's critical to avoid feeding grapes or raisins to cats and dogs, as they're toxic to pets. Balancing work, parenting, and pet care demands practical strategies such as planning meals, scheduling regular play and rest times for the cats, and involving children safely with pets to cultivate positive bonds. As summer ends, focusing on these elements ensures a strong finish to the season and a smooth transition into the school year. Sharing your journey as a #catmom and #toddlermom, while embracing #summervibes, encourages others to find joy and resilience in the chaos of daily life and pet parenting.
