Writing my first novel

Where and when do you write the most often?

I LOVE a super busy coffee shop. I love to get my favorite drink (or two 😅🤘🏻) and just let the creative process flow. The white noise in the background keeps me nice and focused vs. quiet which makes me feel like I need to get up and do something.

Currently writing a fantasy novel that I can’t WAIT to share. I am sitting at about 27,111 words- with a goal of 85k! Let’s do this!

Busy coffee shops are a popular choice, where the hum of conversation and the clinking of cups provide a lively backdrop. In addition to your location, developing a routine can be essential. Whether it's setting a daily word count goal or carving out specific times to write, consistency breeds progress. As you embark on this writing journey, don't underestimate the importance of community. Engaging with fellow writers, whether through social media platforms or local writing groups, can provide valuable support. Sharing your goals, such as aiming for that first major word milestone (like 27,111 words!), fosters accountability and motivation. Embrace the process, celebrate small victories, and remember: every author was once a beginner. Through perseverance and creativity, your first novel can become a reality!

Good luck with your novel!!! 📚 I usually write in busy cafes too. There’s something about the house and commotion around me that helps me focus by tuning it out

I used to fancy myself as an incredible writer but I am so thankful I never let anyone else see what I wrote because it was terrible! I have a serious appreciation for anyone that can write well and has a passion for it
