As someone who has dealt with a nationwide service outage before, I understand how frustrating it can be when a major provider like Verizon experiences disruptions. The recent outage that affected many customers nationwide caused a significant inconvenience—especially in today’s connected world where phone service is crucial for daily communication, work, and emergencies. I was fortunate that my phone service remained stable during this outage, but I empathize deeply with those who were impacted. Verizon’s public apology and commitment to providing account credits to affected customers is a positive step towards making things right. This gesture recognizes the inconveniences customers face, especially when they pay regularly expecting reliable service. If you were affected by the Verizon outage, here are a few tips based on my experience: 1. **Monitor Verizon’s Official Channels:** Verizon has been providing ongoing updates via their website and social media. Staying informed helps you understand the scope and expected resolution timeline. 2. **Document Your Downtime:** Keeping a record of the periods when service was disrupted can help you when requesting credits or compensation. 3. **Explore Alternative Communication Methods:** During outages, consider using Wi-Fi-based calling, messaging apps like WhatsApp or Messenger, or email to stay connected. 4. **Contact Customer Service:** If service issues persist or you don’t receive promised credits, don’t hesitate to reach out to Verizon’s customer support for assistance. Experiencing an outage highlights how dependent we are on connectivity and reminds us that even big providers face challenges. Sharing these experiences helps others prepare and makes a case for better infrastructure and rapid response plans. Hopefully, Verizon continues to improve its network resilience and customer service support, so future disruptions are minimized.

I do believe our info was leaked because I was not getting as many scam calls but today however all I’m getting is is scam calls. Verizon needs to come on through with that BS credit monitoring
