High Court Jester OC (+ Bonus Cicero Fanart)

As an artist, I've always been captivated by the enigmatic charm of jesters. There's something so compelling about their duality – the laughter and the hidden sorrow, the playful chaos and the sharp wit. That's why creating a Jester OC (Original Character) has become one of my favorite artistic endeavors, and I love diving into jester drawing reference materials. When I start a new Jester OC art project, my mind overflows with ideas from historical court jesters to dark fantasy tricksters. My latest creation, which you can see in these sketches, really pushed me to explore dynamic poses. I wanted to capture a sense of movement, like a theatrical performance frozen in time. Capturing his unique blend of unsettling cheerfulness and loyalty was a fun challenge. My pencil sketch portrait of him aims to show his long, wavy hair and that familiar serious expression, even while wearing a simple tunic. It's a different kind of character study compared to my original jester, but equally rewarding.
