When it comes to collagen powder mixing in smoothie, I've learned a few tricks. First, whether you're using a liquid or a powder, consistency is key. If you're using a powder, I always recommend adding it to your blender before your frozen ingredients and liquids. This helps it dissolve more smoothly and prevents those pesky clumps. A good quality hydrolyzed collagen powder will mix seamlessly, but even with those, a little pre-blending with your liquid base (like almond milk or water) can make a huge difference. For this mixed berry protein smoothie, I used a delightful honey-flavored collagen, which added such a lovely sweetness without needing extra sugar.
