Fake orders in tiktok damaged millions.
This post was not intended to accuse anyone, but rather to tell from the perspective of people who were actually affected by the unusual order that the intended business was so badly damaged.
Many people may only see beautiful GMV peaks, or leap in sales growth, but in the corner of brand and store owners, what matters more than numbers is the quality of sales and the reliability of the business.
I want this to be an example for both vendors, brokers and platforms, that every action involved in creating sales that does not materialize can affect people who really intend to do business without their knowledge.
It takes money, time and patience to build a brand, but sometimes damage occurs faster than you think. Hopefully in the future there will be a system that protects more honest business owners and hopes everyone will help to keep the online trading environment fair for all parties. 💔
