A bad experience in Chengdu because of one insect.
It's a lesson for anyone to visit Chengdu or go up the hill in China. Our brother just had a very scary incident: he stopped by the men's bathroom at the gas station on the way up the hill and got bitten by an insect in the urinals!
As a result, the face was very swollen. The condition was shocking. I didn't think that the insects in the bathroom were so dangerous. Some toilets are quite dirty and are a collection of poisonous insects that we don't know.
What to remind everyone:

จากประสบการณ์นี้ ทำให้ผมรู้ว่าการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในสถานที่ทุรกันดาร เช่น เฉิงตูและตามภูเขาในจีน นอกจากจะได้สัมผัสธรรมชาติและวัฒนธรรมใหม่ๆแล้ว ยังต้องเพิ่มความระมัดระวังในเรื่องสุขอนามัยและความปลอดภัยส่วนตัวด้วย ผมเคยไปเที่ยวเฉิงตูช่วงหน้าร้อน และได้เจอกับสถานการณ์ที่แมลงในห้องน้ำสาธารณะ โดยเฉพาะที่ปั๊มน้ำมันบนเขาที่ค่อนข้างขึ้นและลงลำบาก แมลงจำพวกแมลงวันหรือแมลงกัดต่างๆ อาจซ่อนตัวอยู่ในโถฉี่หรือรอบๆ ผนังห้องน้ำ แม้จะตัวเล็กแต่ก็ทำอันตรายได้ถ้าเราประมาท ดังนั้นก่อนเข้าห้องน้ำในที่ห่างไกลหรือที่ไม่คุ้นเคย ควรสังเกตสภาพแวดล้อมรอบข้างให้ดี เช่น ดูว่าโถฉี่หรือพื้นว่ามีแมลงหรือสิ่งสกปรกหรือไม่ ถ้าเห็นแมลงควรรีบเปลี่ยนที่หรือเลี่ยงการสัมผัส นอกจากนี้ ผมมักจะพกสเปรย์ไล่แมลงและยาแก้แพ้เล็กๆติดกระเป๋าไว้เสมอเพื่อป้องกันเหตุการณ์ไม่คาดคิด ถ้ามีอาการแพ้หรือบวมแดงเมื่อโดนแมลงกัดจะได้รักษาทันที ข้อแนะนำสุดท้ายคือ อย่าชะล่าใจ เพราะในสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวบางแห่งโดยเฉพาะตรงห้องน้ำชาย เดินทางระยะไกลหรือบนเขา อาจเจอแมลงหรือสิ่งมีพิษซ่อนอยู่ได้เสมอ การป้องกันตัวเองและรู้จักสังเกตสภาพแวดล้อมจะช่วยให้เที่ยวได้อย่างปลอดภัยและสนุกมากขึ้น
