จากประสบการณ์ของผู้ปกครองหลายคนที่ได้ลงทะเบียนรับเงินอุดหนุนเด็กแรกเกิด พบว่าการเตรียมเอกสารอย่างครบถ้วนและการติดต่อสอบถามข้อมูลล่วงหน้ากับหน่วยงานในพื้นที่นั้นสำคัญอย่างมาก เช่น เทศบาล หรือสำนักงานเขต เพราะแต่ละพื้นที่อาจมีกระบวนการและแนวทางการรับลงทะเบียนที่แตกต่างกันไป สำหรับครอบครัวที่มีรายได้น้อยและเข้าข่ายตามเงื่อนไข เช่น รายได้ครัวเรือนไม่เกิน 100,000 บาทต่อคนต่อปี การยื่นขอรับเงินช่วยเหลือนี้จะช่วยเพิ่มรายได้ให้กับครอบครัวได้อย่างชัดเจน โดยเงินช่วยเหลือจำนวนเดือนละ 600 บาทต่อเด็กหนึ่งคนนั้น ถือเป็นการแบ่งเบาภาระค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับการเลี้ยงดูเด็กเล็กได้เป็นอย่างดี นอกจากนี้ในบางกรณีผู้ปกครองอาจมีสิทธิ์ได้รับ "เงินสงเคราะห์บุตรประกันสังคม" เพิ่มเติมด้วย ซึ่งจะได้อีกเดือนละ 1,000 บาท หากมีการทำงานประกันสังคมมาตรา 33 หรือ 39 ทีนี้หากได้รับทั้งสองสิทธิ์นี้รวมกันแล้ว สูงสุดถึง 1,600 บาทต่อเดือน ช่วยให้พ่อแม่สามารถวางแผนค่าใช้จ่ายได้ดีขึ้นและให้ความมั่นคงทางการเงินแก่ครอบครัวในระยะยาว จึงอยากแนะนำให้ผู้ปกครองติดตามข่าวสารสิทธิประโยชน์จากภาครัฐอย่างใกล้ชิดและอย่ารอช้าในการลงทะเบียน เพราะบางครั้งมีข้อกำหนดเวลาหรือจำกัดการรับสิทธิ์ในแต่ละช่วงเวลา การเตรียมตัวล่วงหน้าจะช่วยให้ไม่พลาดสิทธิประโยชน์ดี ๆ เหล่านี้เลย การได้รับเงินอุดหนุนเด็กแรกเกิดไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยด้านการเงินเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของการดูแลเอาใจใส่จากรัฐที่คอยสนับสนุนพ่อแม่และเด็กตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นชีวิต เป็นหลักประกันที่ทำให้ผู้ปกครองรู้สึกอุ่นใจและมีกำลังใจในการเลี้ยงดูบุตรหลานอย่างเต็มที่
