21 days ago I surrendered my soul and body to Christ totally. For I am His servant and to be used as a vessel to love others with God's love + forgiveness, share His great works in my life, and work to always uphold and produce the fruits of the spirit: LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF-CONTROL. Galatians 5:22-23 NIV
Today was a great Sunday - a BLESSED Sunday. My church has been teaching on the importance of no longer looking back on pain, people, and troubles that only cause us to stray away from God.
As Pastor Fisher (The Star Forestdale Campus) shared today, we tend to grow comfortable in the *good* places and positions we're in... places where we feel most comfortable. But God is calling us to be faithful - walk out on faith and turn away from fear because although it may be just a tad bit uncomfortable, God has GREATER AHEAD. Stop looking back on the bad place you're in or the good place you're in because God wants MORE for you and can do incredible things in your life.
See, I was fulfilling my passion for content creation for a while until I was abruptly let go recently. I felt a lot of pain, a little lost on what's next, and a bit of discouragement but I had to look forward on the GREATER God had ahead for me.
When I decided to look forward and cease looking back on vices associated with pain... I freed my blessings that God had ahead.
Now, I am actively serving in the church on the media team fulfilling my passion for content creating and might I add that just on this 1st Sunday... I felt so FULL in adding to the experience of church and our pastor's message. I truly thank God from the bottom of my heart for meeting me when I went seeking Him and the kingdom.
God truly loves us and He is calling you nearer to Him. You are not alone! Don't think that there is anything you've done to turn God away from you; for His love is unconditional, His forgiveness is endless, and even in the tests and trials of your life... God is still sparing your life! Job 2:6 NIV
Remember, God loves you and He is calling YOU because He wants to free you, save you, and use you. He chose you. When will you answer?

In today's world, many individuals seek a deeper connection with their faith amidst life's challenges. Surrendering to a higher power can lead to profound transformation. Each Sunday offers us an opportunity to renew our spirit and focus on God’s greater plan for our lives. The church community plays a vital role in supporting each other, offering teachings that remind us to look forward rather than dwell on past hardships. It is through active service, such as participating in a church ministry, that we can fulfill our God-given talents and help others experience His love. Moreover, understanding the fruits of the Spirit as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23 can guide us in our daily interactions. LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF-CONTROL not only shape our character but also create a positive impact in the lives of those around us. As we embrace God's call, we can find comfort in knowing His love is unwavering and that He desires for us to thrive, even in uncomfortable situations. It is this faith that can help us navigate through life's trials and lead us to a fulfilling purpose.
