Fall Recap
Here’s what I’ve been up to this fall! I don’t normally post my photography, but I thought these looked kind of cool lol
This fall was a vibrant journey of artistic exploration, blending nature's beauty with creative expression. Inspired by the colors and textures of autumn, I ventured into both photography and painting to capture the season's mood. My photography focuses on the tranquil landscapes and cascading waterfalls of places like Cuyahoga, embracing the natural serenity that fall brings. The rich oranges, reds, and yellows provide a perfect backdrop for capturing fleeting moments of nature. These photographs are more than snapshots; they are a way to preserve the calm and reflective feeling that autumn invokes. Alongside photography, I experimented with new oil sticks and gouache paints to create paintings that convey the tactile richness of fall. Using these mediums allowed me to work with vibrant textures reminiscent of fallen leaves and blooming flowers, especially bouquets that have fascinated me lately. The tactile nature of oil sticks adds depth to the artwork, making each piece feel alive and dynamic. This combination of film photography and painting illustrates how visual art forms can complement each other, transforming the essence of fall into diverse creative outputs. Whether you're an artist, an art lover, or simply someone who enjoys the season's beauty, embracing multiple mediums can deepen your appreciation and connection to autumn's unique atmosphere.
