teething guide!

hello ◡̈

Every baby will handle teething differently. For my son, his bottom two teeth came in almost unnoticed. He did get a little fussy and wanted to chew on EVERYTHING but other than that he handled them cutting so well. His top teeth have been a different ball park. He’s a lot more clingy, fussy and I can tell he’s in more pain. I have only needed to give him Genexa’s acetaminophen once — other than that one time he’s seemed to tolerate the pain.

These are my go to products for teething products!

✨TOP 3 STAR TIPS FOR TEETHING✨

✨ Chew Toys! Give baby toys with different textures and hardness to massage gums. Chewing on hard toys can help that tooth cut much easier and less painfully.

✨Numbing! Numbing babys gums will give them so much relief because they won’t feel the tooth cutting as much — numb with tooth oil or cold/frozen toys or food!

✨Pain Relief! Teething is natural & everyone goes through it. You don’t need to immediately jump on some pain medicine, although yes it probably does hurt. Let baby work their gums by chewing and numbing (above tips^.) If baby is in a lot of pain or has an un breakable fever and you can tell they really need some pain medicine, don’t even second guess giving them the pain meds. It’s all about balance here.

... Read moreTeething is a crucial developmental stage for infants that can come with various challenges. During this time, babies may experience discomfort, increased drooling, and disrupted sleep, which can be tough for both babies and parents. To effectively manage teething symptoms, many parents find that utilizing chew toys with diverse textures helps massage and soothe sore gums. Additionally, introducing cold or frozen items, including washcloths or teething rings, can provide comforting relief. For added soothing, consider using organic baby tooth oil or natural numbing agents. Moreover, keeping a keen eye on your baby's behavior can help you gauge their discomfort levels. If your baby appears particularly unhappy or develops a persistent fever, it may be beneficial to consult with a pediatrician about over-the-counter pain relief options like Genexa's acetaminophen. Finding the right balance of soothing tactics is essential, so always prioritize your baby's comfort and health during this natural and often critical phase of development. Remember, patience and understanding go a long way as your little one navigates through teething.
