my kids won’t get birthday parties

This isn’t as awful as it sounds, I will be throwing them small intimate family birthday get together every year but I will only be doing more elaborate birthday parties for milestone birthdays. For example; 1, 10 (double digits!), 16, and 18 (and also probably their 21 if they want me to) And even then, I’ll ask them if they’d prefer a party or if they’d rather take a trip somewhere instead. 🫶🏼
