Marvel Rivals
Loving rivals and Namor so far. Not my best play but worth sharing over here. #marvelrivalsclips #gaymer #PC #marvelrivals
Hey everyone! So, I just shared a little highlight of my Namor gameplay in Marvel Rivals, and it got me thinking about what makes playing a character like him so much fun, especially on PC. If you're diving into the game, or even if you're a seasoned player looking to up your game, here are some personal tips I've picked up that might help you score more "HIGHLIGHTs" of your own. First off, Namor is all about controlling the battlefield and being a disruptive force. His Trident Throw (Skill 1) is fantastic for poke and zoning. I usually try to hit enemies from a distance, especially before a big team fight, to chip away at their health. Don't underestimate its utility for finishing off low-health targets trying to escape! His Hydro Blast (Skill 2) is a bit trickier but super satisfying when you nail it. It's a great crowd control tool, especially when enemies are grouped up or pushing through a choke point. Learning its trajectory and timing takes practice, but it can turn the tide of a skirmish. And his ultimate, Tidal Wave, is just incredible for clearing objectives or initiating a massive engage. I always try to time it when I know my teammates are ready to follow up, or when the enemy team is clustered together. Positioning is key for Namor; he's not the tankiest, so you want to be able to dish out damage and control without overextending. Beyond specific character mechanics, I’ve found that general game awareness in Marvel Rivals really elevates your play. Always keep an eye on the objective – whether it's capturing points or escorting payloads. Too many players get caught up in just getting eliminations, but winning the game means playing the objective. Communication with your team, even if it's just pinging, makes a huge difference. Knowing when to push, when to fall back, and who to focus fire on is crucial. I also find it super helpful to understand team compositions. Who complements Namor well? Characters with strong burst damage or additional crowd control can really capitalize on Namor's setup potential. For my fellow PC players, optimizing your settings can seriously impact your performance and ability to land those crucial shots. I always make sure my frame rate is stable – sometimes sacrificing a bit of graphical fidelity for smoother gameplay is worth it. Experiment with your mouse sensitivity and keybinds until they feel natural. Having quick access to abilities and pings without fumbling can mean the difference between a good play and a missed opportunity. Finally, about those "HIGHLIGHTs" – we all want them, right? What I've learned is that highlights often come from moments of quick thinking, good positioning, and smart ability usage. It's not always about getting a multi-kill, sometimes it's a clutch save with your Hydro Blast or a perfectly timed ultimate that sets up your team for success. I try to use NVIDIA ShadowPlay or AMD ReLive to constantly record, so I don't miss those unexpected awesome moments. Then, reviewing my clips, even the "not my best play" ones, helps me see what I did right and what I could improve. Sharing them, like I did, also lets you get feedback and connect with other players. Hope these tips help you out on the battlefield! See you in Marvel Rivals!
